Description
Fisk Tire Company print ad comparing two scenes of New York's North River Front Pier with a congestion of delivery vehicles in front of the main building. One scene, with a circular frame inset into the larger image, is dated 1908 and shows a few trucks and several horse drawn carts. The other scene, which dominates the top half of the page and is dated 1918, shows the same congestion of delivery vehicles. The congestion is dominated by the increase in the number of trucks with only a couple of horse drawn carts mixed in. The tag line reads, "Goods must move on time."
